2024-25 Suzanna Youngs Memorial Scholarship

The Suzanna Youngs Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a registered student attending St. Ambrose Academy for the year 2024-2025. All Catholic families are eligible to apply for this scholarship providing your child has been registered at St. Ambrose Academy in any grade from kindergarten thru fifth grade. If your child is already a recipient of a full scholarship, then they are not eligible for the Suzanna Youngs Memorial Scholarship.

An award of $750.00 (seven hundred and fifty dollars) will be given toward the tuition of the child whose family is selected as the winner of the scholarship essay. This Scholarship is funded through the fundraising efforts of the Knights of Columbus Ascension Council #15638 and the Ladies Auxiliary.

Suzanna Youngs was a lifelong Parishioner of Peace of Christ Parish, St. Ambrose worship site. She attended St. Ambrose School (which became the current St. Ambrose Academy). She was a teaching assistant for many years in both the Pre-K and Kindergarten classes. She took a full-time year-round position as St. John Neumann School Secretary in 2013. She passed away in May 2015. It is our hope that her passion for Catholic Education continues through this scholarship program in her memory

To be considered for the scholarship, the following materials must be hand-delivered or postmarked on or before October 4, 2024.
